From this point forward shall be referred as MRC - Designer Fabrics. We own and operate this website. We reserve, at our absolute discretion the right to vary these Conditions of Use and any other policies upon which the site is to be used. As such, we suggest that you consult our site from time to time as we reserve the right to update this policy at any given time. Please note that by placing an order ("Order"), you confirm that you agree to these Terms of Sale. Please understand that if you refuse to accept these Terms of Sale, you will not be able to order from this Website.
The contents of this website are intended for the sole purpose of promoting and selling our products and services. All website design, the MRC - Designer Fabrics trade mark, graphics, text and any such material or computer programs related to the website are owned by ourselves and thus cannot be used for any other purpose (other than for personal or non-commercial use and only then, provided you do not modify, obscure or delete such graphic, materials or text). The misuse of our logo, will breach the Copyright Infringement laws. Please note that when using the MRC -Designer Fabrics website we will do our utmost to ensure that all personal information be kept private and confidential and at no point will MRC -Designer Fabrics willingly share this information with any third parties. Any Terms and Conditions concerning the use of this website will be governed by the laws of Australia and any dispute concerning use of this website will be determined by the Australian Courts. Whilst we take all the necessary steps to exclude viruses from this website, we may not be able to guarantee that such attempts will be successful and therefore will not accept liability for such viruses. We recommend that you take all the safeguards necessary before downloading information from our website or any other website.
Please note that although we have taken all possible steps to ensure that the product images are representative of the product as best as possible, colours may vary according to settings on your screen and therefore can only be an approximation of the actual product. Please note that colour variations may occur between different batches and/or rolls of fabric.
Any 'catwalk' images that appear on product pages are solely for illustrative purposes only and may show a design with fabric similar in quality and/or colour of the fabric listed. Catwalk photos do not represent the same fabric but a similar fabric.
To avoid any disappointment, we strongly encourage you to purchase a sample in either a card sliver, or minimum quantity of 10cm of the desired fabric before ordering it in a specified length. It will give a true representation of the colour, texture, pattern, weight and handle of a fabric.
We may wish to monitor your use of the MRC - Designer Fabrics website for the purpose of identifying which products and/or services may be of interest to you and therefore informing you of such promotions and inventory changes.
It is not possible to return or exchange fabrics or trimmings that have been ordered and cut to your specification. This does not affect your statutory rights. If you believe your item is damaged, please contact customer service on our help portal here: email@example.com
All non-fabric/trimming goods may be returned for refund within 14 days of receipt if in perfect re-saleable condition. On the occasion where a refund is accepted, the returned item/s must be sent back to us at your cost & will not be refunded until the item/s are returned to us, complete with any free gift, and have passed quality control.
Any refunds owed to you under these Terms of Sale shall be processed and shall be paid to you using the same method used to pay and within 14 days of the earlier of the date that we receive the relevant products back from you.
Unfortunately, as all fabrics & trimmings are cut to your individual specification, they cannot be returned (exceptions apply). Please see our Returns Policy for further information.
All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, there may be a delay in delivery times. Unfortunately this is out of our control. Once your order has been shipped, you will be sent a confirmation email with tracking information to the email address used during checkout. We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Within Australia we offer Standard Satchel and Express Satchel Shipping. Pricing and Delivery Times may vary depending on the current covid 19 Situation.
Local delivery / In- store pick up
At this time we are unable to offer local delivery. However, we do offer instore appointments for purchasing and picks of online orders.
Pick Up times are available from [10am to 3pm] on [Mon - Fri].
We will contact you via text message with the phone number you provided at checkout to notify you when your order is ready for collection.
We offer international shipping to the following countries: British Indian Ocean Territory, Canada, Cook Islands, Denmark, Fiji, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Japan, New Zealand, Norfolk Island, Russia, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States.
If you wish to make a purchase and you are located in a country not listed, please contact us for shipping information.
Shipping times are an estimate only and are subject to the conditions of the carrier.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. MRC - Designer Fabrics is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 15 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Pricing & Availability
Prices and availability of all of our products and services advertised on this website are subject to change at any time. Whilst we try to ensure that all details, descriptions & prices which appear on this website are correct, errors may occur. If we discover an error in price of any goods you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or canceling it.
Whilst we take all the necessary steps to keep the information on this website up to date, the content is provided by way of information only and will need to be confirmed at time of enquiry. In the event of any discrepancy, it is the latter, which shall prevail. The information and materials contained on our website are provided without guarantee.
MRC - Designer Fabrics reserves the right, at any given time, to remove a product or service.
In the unlikely event that an order placed by the customer is unavailable or damaged, we reserve the right to give the customer a full refund. In this situation the customer will be notified by e-mail/phone call.
All our product prices are inclusive of GST.
We reserve the right to refuse or cut a minimum quantity of any printed item from our website at any time during a transaction.
We reserve the right to refuse an order if we suspect any fraudulent activity.
Shipping charges may fluctuate based on changing fuel prices however customers will be made aware of this prior to completing their purchase.
